Marilou Chardin

Born and raised in France, I competed in sports at a national level before flying to Miami at the age of 18. Earning a B.B.A. degree in International Marketing and Finance, I am currently enrolled in the Media Management M.S. program at the University of Miami while being part their Division Ⅰ, rowing team.

With an athletic background from rowing for the French national team to an American collegiate path, I gained a mindful but competitive approach. I am fueled by a passion for understanding the nuances of cross–cultural social media.

Being a student–athlete for over four years, I am eager to both build on my academic foundations in marketing and media as well as athletic experiences. While staying in tune with the latest media and marketing strategies through continued coursework.

This hunger to thrive in team environment and determination turned into actions leading me to receive awards from ACC with an All–ACC Academic Team and All–ACC Second awards. Meanwhile, I took part in the leadership board on our team by implementing projects to ensure a strong team dynamic. But also committed 25 hours per week to training and while maintaining a full course load.

Out of the classroom you’ll find me dreaming of sports, doodling with oil pastel, and admiring all the cute cats. I am currently looking for an internship in the social media or marketing field and I am always interested in a challenge. Reach out at marilou.milou.chardin@gmail.com to connect!
